Reading body language: Things that make a bid difference. Reading body language is all about using the understanding of body language to your advantage. Accomplished salespeople have one thing in common – they’re half acrobat and half reading body language experts working hard to pull off deals off. It is all about utilizing each and every piece picked up by reading body language to address your client’s body language that you have read.
When it comes the world of sales, it’s an art defying ballet. As you communicate, you keep moving your arms. That’s human nature. Your arms keep going up furiously with everything you say and could at times express ultra-strong emotions like hostility and egotism more than any typical words can.
As for an example of reading body language
If you cross your hands across the chest, this might be a not-so-perfect stance as the client might be perceive you as a closed mind, who is not attentive to what is being said. This move isn’t amenable when it comes to convincing. If the client has her own way of reading body language, things could get a bit messed up.
On the other hand some people end up placing their hands on their hips arms akimbo. This signals sheer dominance. At least, it’s a clear sign of condescension. For sending positive signals, you could use upward and/or open gestures which spell expansiveness.
If you aren’t new at reading body language, you should already know that showing of palms suggests honesty as well as willingness to smoothly meeting half way and you don’t even have to be pushy. Surely, the significance of a solid, friendly, un-sweaty handshake can’t be overemphasized with reading body language. Bear in mind that, you can also use deodorant on your palms.

Uneasy legs demonstrate nervousness in reading body language and it also shows your lack of focus or attention. When you keep the legs crossed it’ll means that you’re closed as a personality.
Still, if your legs remain crossed fidgeting, this expresses your anxiety or troubled thought. When you’re sitting across the desk this, there’s an acceptable limit of the total number of times you could drop things for getting yourself a fast peek under. If the person you’re talking to has a decent capacity of reading body language, your moves, your faltering and your consciousness will be thoroughly noticed.








So many things to remember . You have to be constantly aware of what signals your body may be sending out .

I always make it a point to watch how I sit and react to whom I’m talking to…..I make sure that I am in a position to where the person feels that I am interested in what they’re saying even if I’m not. I know, I’m bad…..
